Tide Land is an exhibition of works created during my artist residency that investigates the ever-shifting environment of a north Atlantic shoreline. I worked with stones, water and light to find analogies between human-built and organic structures. By installing photo-based materials directly on the beach, I gathered lumen (camera-less) exposures affected by change in the light, tide and weather. For the exhibition, my aim was to overlap natural and human environments through transposing my research into the urban gallery space.
